Inventory management
Inventory management that keeps up with every sale
Stop guessing what’s on the shelf or in the van. iPOS updates stock as you sell and shows you what to reorder, what it cost and what it’s worth.
Why it matters
Inventory mistakes cost money in both directions
Run out of a popular item and you lose the sale — or send a technician back to the shop. Over-order and cash sits on a shelf. Manual counts and spreadsheets fall behind the moment the first sale of the day is made.
iPOS ties inventory directly to your point of sale. Every sale adjusts stock in real time, and each product record carries the numbers you need to decide what to buy next.
Capabilities
What iPOS tracks for every product
Quantity on hand
Real-time counts that update as sales are recorded.
Reorder point and low-stock flag
Your own threshold per product, with a clear warning when stock drops below it.
Supply and retail price
Cost and selling price side by side so margins stay visible.
Stock value
The value of what you hold for each product, based on quantity and cost.
Pictures, brands and product types
Organize large catalogs so staff find the right item quickly.
Export
Download inventory data for purchasing, accounting or a physical count.
Multiple locations
Stock by store, warehouse or vehicle
Set up each location as an outlet with its own inventory. That includes service vehicles — iPOS was first built to track the stock carried in each van of a busy service fleet.

Use cases
Practical ways businesses use iPOS inventory
- Weekly reorder: review the low-stock flags in the inventory report and build your purchase list from the reorder points you set.
- Restocking vans: compare what each vehicle holds before it heads out.
- Margin checks: spot products where supply cost has crept up against your retail price.
- Year-end: export stock value for your accountant.

Large catalogs
Keeping hundreds of similar products straight
Parts, accessories and supplies often look alike on a list. Product pictures, brands and product types make similar items easy to tell apart at the register, and reorder points keep your fast movers in stock. During onboarding, your account manager helps you set up the catalog the way your business actually sells.

Inventory management questions
Does inventory update automatically when I make a sale?
Yes. iPOS tracks inventory in real time, so quantities on hand change as sales are recorded at any register or location.
How do low-stock alerts work?
You set a reorder point for each product. When the quantity on hand drops below that number, iPOS flags the item in the inventory report so you can reorder before you run out.
Can I track inventory in different locations or vehicles?
Yes. Each store, warehouse or service vehicle can be its own outlet with its own stock. Locations are unlimited on every plan.
Is there a limit on how many products I can add?
No. Products are unlimited on both the monthly and annual plans.
Can I export my inventory?
Yes. Inventory lists and reports can be exported and downloaded for purchasing, accounting or audits.
